NH SBDC and NH Tech Alliance have teamed up to equip small businesses with more cybersecurity knowledge and resources through our new Cybersecurity Initiative.
The Initiative offers a web-based training program that guides businesses through cyber planning best practices. Included is a live workshop on using the Data Assured Cybersecurity Workbook, which is based on the below five central steps of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Identify - Can you identify the assets and systems that are susceptible to cyber threats?
- Protect - What basic practices do you have in place to protect your systems and assets?
- Detect - What do you use to detect someone or something malicious?
- Respond - How will you deal with a breach if and when it occurs?
- Recover - How will you restore your business back to normal and recover after a breach?
