Below is a detailed description of building status over the winter shutdown.  Please make sure if you are on campus that you are following all COVID testing protocols. If you are using your office or classroom spaces make sure any windows that you open are closed before you leave. This is very important!!!

November 20 through December 18, 2020
  • Paul College locked to public access.
  • Building systems remain active with temperatures set back to 60 degrees.
  • Building occupants will use reheat buttons on thermostats if working in the building.
  • Access for Faculty, Staff, Teaching Graduate Students and Research Assistants managed through card access system.

This configuration will allow faculty and staff to continue to use the building for teaching, research and closing out the semester.

December 19, 2020 through January 8, 2021
  • Paul College remains locked to public access.
  • Building systems set to unoccupied mode with temperatures set back to 55 degrees.
  • Building occupants will use reheat buttons on thermostats if working in the building.
  • Access for Faculty, Staff, Teaching Graduate Students and Research Assistants managed through card access system.

This configuration assumes very limited access to the building for research and faculty /staff needs.

January 9 through January 25, 2021
  • Paul College locked to public access.
  • Building systems returned to active mode with temperatures set back to 60 degrees.
  • Building occupants will use reheat buttons on thermostats if working in the building.
  • Access for Faculty, Staff, Teaching Graduate Students and Research Assistants managed through card access system.

This configuration will allow for faculty, staff, teaching graduate students to return to make ready for the start of E-Term and the beginning of the spring semester.

February 1 start of spring semester
  • Access and building systems return to normal operation.
