The Sustainability Awards Steering Committee has named Jennifer Griffith as a recipient of a Gold UNH Sustainability Award for this year. Her research in this domain aligns closely with UN Sustainability Goals #5 (gender equality) and #8 (decent work & economic growth).
The new Sustainability Awards program at UNH seeks to celebrate and incentivize research and scholarship, curriculum development and teaching, campus initiatives and culture, and external engagement activities and achievements that best embody the principles and practices of sustainability. UNH is a national leader in sustainability and is recognizing, celebrating and raising the visibility of individuals and teams who are champions of, and addressing sustainability issues across and beyond the university.
