Dr. Jun Li is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Paul College of the University of New Hampshire, previously the Faculty Director of the Paul College MBA Programs (2012-2015). He holds a Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management from Texas A&M University, and a master’s and Bachelors’ Degrees in Economics from Peking University, P.R. China.

Dr. Li’s research focuses on top management teams, entrepreneurial teams, technology ventures, entrepreneurship education, and global strategy. His work has appeared in Long Range Planning, Management Decision, Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Journal of High-Technology Management Research, and others. He is the Associate Editor for the New England Journal of Entrepreneurship and serves on the Editorial Review Board for the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research. He is the Chair of the U.S. Northeast Chapter of the Academy of International Business, the leading association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business.

Dr. Li teaches Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, International Business, and International Management at both undergraduate and graduate levels. For the past decade, he has been the lead faculty of the Paul MBA International Residency, a program that takes MBA students abroad (China and Peru) to gain first-hand global business and cross-cultural experience. Other than degree-based teaching, Dr. Li also devotes time to help managers build global mindsets, cross-culture competencies, and strategic leadership skills in an increasingly global and diverse environment. His last recent corporate consulting clients include GOSS International and Shanghai Electric (P.R. China).

Before joining academia, he worked as an international business manager for China Merchants Bank, the first commercial bank wholly owned by corporate legal entities in China.
