Svetlana Petrova is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from the Warrington College of Business, University of Florida.

Svetlana's research revolves around FinTech, empirical investments, behavioral finance, and labor effects in corporate finance. Her current research activity primarily focuses on the financial markets’ reactions to cybersecurity breaches. She also conducts research in other related topics, including high-frequency trading and market microstructure, real estate finance, as well as digital economy and regulation under cybersecurity scrutiny.
