Courtney Paulson is an Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at the Paul College of Business and Economics. Her research focuses on the usage of statistics and data analysis in business domains, with a particular emphasis on computer algorithms and data scraping. In addition to publications in top journals like the Journal of Marketing Research and the Journal of the American Statistical Association, Dr. Paulson also maintains software packages and collaborates with industry professionals on both academic and company projects. She also served on the editorial board of the INFORMS Transactions on Education journal. In conjunction with her research work, Dr. Paulson teaches the MBA course "Data-Driven Decisions" (for both the full-time and part-time MBA programs) and the undergraduate "Business Stats" course for Paul College.

Prior to joining the faculty of UNH, Dr. Paulson completed her PhD in Business Administration (Statistics) at the University of Southern California before taking a position as an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics at the University of Maryland and later the Graduate Program Director for Southern Utah University's Master of Science in Business Analytics program. When she's not at UNH, you can usually find her at home watching sports or, ah, "researching probability" in Las Vegas.
