Elizabeth Gray

Elizabeth Gray ’00 ‘G09, state director of the New Hampshire Small Business Development (NH SBDC), was recently elected to the America’s Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC) Board of Directors.

Gray was among a select group of nominees elected by her peers at the National America’s Small Business Development Center Conference in early September. Gray’s term is for two years.

The ASBDC is a network of Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) – the most comprehensive small business assistance network in the United States. The ASBDC Board of Directors is comprised of 10 members - 9 state directors and 1 associate state director.

Gray has also been an active member of the ASBDC’s Legislative, Leadership, and Small but Mighty committees. As part of her new appointment, Gray will work with the ASBDC Marketing Committee and the New England Region SBDC networks as their newly appointed board liaison.

Gray has served as state director of the NH SBDC since 2018. The NH SBDC delivers personalized and confidential advising services to over 3,000 businesses in approximately 200 communities annually.

The NH SBDC is an outreach program of the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, aligning with the university’s mission to bolster the state’s economic landscape.

Gray also serves on the UNH Manchester Advisory Board, and the boards of directors of the UNH Alumni Association, and Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR), and co-chairs Paul College’s Business in Practice Advisory Board.

Gray has a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in environmental conservation and international affairs from UNH. 

Fellow Wildcat, Adria Bagshaw ’96 was also recently appointed to a three-year term on the National SBDC Advisory Board.

Bagshaw is the vice president & co-owner of W.H. Bagshaw Company, a Nashua-based pin manufacturer. She is also a longtime member of the NH SBDC Advisory Board, where she served as board chair from 2012-2020.
