Over the past academic year, my teaching and service have been deeply shaped by my goal to embed entrepreneurial thinking into every course I teach, including both strategy and entrepreneurship. Attending the Price-Babson Symposium was transformative and inspired me to redesign my courses to include engagement opportunities at every turn, using real-world cases, pitch simulations, and strategic decision-making activities that push students to think critically and creatively.

As Chair of the Entrepreneurial Option Committee, I’ve worked to update the curriculum and align it more closely with today’s innovation landscape. In my role as Entrepreneurship Option Coordinator, I’m started to work with new colleagues in the option to continue with an integrated student experience across courses. I also chaired the Entrepreneur of the Year Committee, helping to recognize and celebrate this year's winner, who models entrepreneurial leadership, giving students a powerful example to learn from.

My leadership outside the classroom plays a big role in informing my teaching. As Chair of the Dover Chapter of the Women’s Business League and as a speaker at the Seacoast SCORE Women’s Conference, I’ve been able to engage with real entrepreneurs and bring those insights back to students, often through guest speakers in the classroom. Co-owning my own business keeps me connected to the realities of building and growing a company, which adds practical depth to both my strategy and entrepreneurship courses.

In the coming academic year, I plan to stay active in professional networks and continue enhancing courses through peer learning and curriculum innovation. My goal remains to equip students with not only business knowledge but also the entrepreneurial mindset and strategic confidence to thrive in a dynamic world.
