Scarlett Song
Scarlett is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. She received her B.A. from Sun Yat-sen University, an MBA and an MSA from SUNY Binghamton, and a Ph.D. from Boston University. Her research interests include the following:
- intersection of accounting and marketing
- intersection of accounting and healthcare
- financial reporting and disclosure
She has published in top-tier accounting and management journals (Review of Accounting Studies, Management Science). Her dissertation received the best paper award at the 2019 AAA Northeast Meeting, and is among SSRN's Top Ten download list for: Advertising.
Scarlett teaches classes at the undergraduate and MBA levels. She received the highest course rating among all 10 sections when teaching Financial Accounting at the undergraduate level in Boston University.
