This past spring, Paul College alumni Alexys Febonio, along with support from the Paul College Executive Board DEI committee, successfully hosted a three-part series on “Being an Ally at Paul College and Beyond” for student leaders in Paul College.
Sixteen student leaders from student organizations like Rutman Fellows, Dean’s Ambassadors, Women in Business, AKPsi, Voice Z Digital, and more attended the sessions. The sessions spanned topics ranging from the different forms allyship can take, personal reflection of individual bias and how to take action in the future, and an alumni panel that shared their personal experiences as to how allyship has shaped their lives.
A similar series is expected in the coming year, so keep an eye out for information to pass along to students!
