UNH SBDC Day Visit

SBDC celebrated national #SBDCDay on March 16, 2022 with visits from the U.S. SBA Regional Administrator and UNH Alumni Michael Vlacich and NH SBA District Director Amy Bassett. They met with Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands, SBDC State Director Liz Gray, and others from Paul College programs: Neil Niman and Jennifer Chagnon, Business in Practice program, Andrew Mitchell, Business Analytics Center, Nelson Idahosa, U.S. Representative Chris Pappas's office, and Jason Cannon, SBDC.

In 2021, SBDC advised and trained 4,483 businesses. Our business advisors helped them raise $49.2 in new capital and create and save 1,848 jobs in New Hampshire. In addition, SBDC clients have an annual impact on the New Hampshire economy of $196 million.

SBDC Day celebrates the collective impact and success SBDCs have across the nation and in local communities each year. It is a national, collective proclamation of the impact America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) have on the success of our nation’s dreamers, innovators, and doers – America’s small businesses.
