Dear Paul College Colleagues:
On behalf of the Paul Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) Committee, I am writing to ask for your support of this event that showcases the research, scholarship and creative activity of our undergraduate students under your guidance.
As many of you know, UNH has the largest URC in the country, and our college has always been a significant contributor to UNH's URC. This year, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of URC. The Paul URC event will be held on Friday, April 26th. The online registration is now open and will close on Wednesday, March 6th. (Go to the URC website www.unh.edu/urc to register.)

A few quick reminders:
•    If you have worked or are working with students on:
o    Independent study projects
o    Honors theses
o    Capstone projects
o    Course team projects
o    Other semester-long or year-long research, scholarly, or creative projects
Please encourage and/or incentivize your students to participate in the URC this year!

•    Both poster sessions and oral presentation sessions are offered.
o    Due to the space constraint, we encourage individual students to register for the poster session unless their projects are part of a class or with a student organization that is participating in the URC as a whole.
o    Thanks to the continuous support of the Dean’s office, the college will reimburse up to $50 toward the poster cost for students. For ribbon winners, the college will reimburse the entire poster cost. Students should make sure to save receipts.

•    Not only can individual students participate, but also student teams can register as a team.

•    When registering, students only need to identify a project title and their faculty advisor. The project does not have to be complete at this point in order to register.

Below I listed this year’s committee members. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact your department representative, Eileen Laskoski (Eileen.Laskoski@unh.edu ) or myself. We are more than happy to assist you.
