
Timothy Poisson '92 was recently inducted into the University of New Hampshire Diversity Hall of Fame.
A Business Administration graduate, Poisson has spent his career balancing higher education marketing and advancement with his passion for art. Known by his pen name, “Tim Fish,” he is a celebrated author, playwright, and comic artist who authentically portrays LGBTQ+ characters and themes in his work.
Through his art, Poisson aims to put positivity into the world, providing relatable stories for LGBTQ+ youth. His most recent work, "Please Say It!," a weekly webcomic set in the 1980s, focuses on a high school couple facing intolerance and was inspired by contemporary challenges facing the LGBTQ+ community.
Beyond his artistic success, Poisson has also thrived in higher education, holding leadership roles at Brown University, Dartmouth College, and MIT.
