In collaboration with the Dean's Office and the Undergraduate Programs Office, the Paul College DEI committee successfully hosted a revamped, interactive Inclusive Community Meeting during Wildcat Days.
This annual event is designed to welcome new students and foster an inclusive community through reflection and sharing.
Incoming students had the chance to explore the many journeys Paul students can take to “finding their way” through a panel featuring current students—special thanks to Charlotte, Dija, Rozana, and Jesus for their insights!
The event also included a reflective activity where students used Post-it notes to describe the atmosphere of a place where they feel they belong and to suggest actions they can take to help others feel welcome. A word cloud summarizing their responses will be coming to a digital screen near you soon!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone below who facilitated or organized sessions and contributed to making this event a success:
Vicky Parker, Deni Hatch, Jenn Griffith, Tamara Scapicchio, Saege Robinson, Peter Lane, Kim Clark, Drew Patrick, Wendy Pothier, Julia Payne, Karie Fisher, Tegan Smeltzer, Rachel Wells, and FIRE Peer Advisors.
