For several years Paul’s Communications and Marketing department maintained an internal calendar via Word Document for big events within the College, complemented by larger, UNH-wide happenings.

With the shift to moving Paul’s room request form online, the Events Team now utilizes the online data platform Airtable to manage its events. This tool also allows calendar interfaces to be built, which leads to our announcement of the new Paul College Internal Calendar. This resource allows for events to be sorted into user-generated categories, types, and purposes, making it easy to coordinate and find what you are looking for.

The listings are color-coded by primary category, which is mainly organized by department or sponsoring entity. For example, if you are wondering when the Dean’s office events are in the upcoming months, you can click that check box on the category menu to see just those specific events.

We are hopeful that this will make it easier for faculty and staff to know what is happening in and around Paul, and help identify potential date conflicts when planning new events. We have also added a “Submit New Room Request” button, which links to our online form to submit a brand new event request. Additionally, we are encouraging staff and faculty to add events you have already booked and are holding, so that the larger Paul Community is aware it is happening.
