On November 30, the Resources for the International Student Experience initiative (RISE) program visited the Winter Wonders Light Event at Sandy Hill Farm, renowned as the largest and most creative holiday light show in New England.  The graduate programs office chose this outing to provide international students with a unique and festive experience, fostering a sense of community and celebration during the winter holiday season.

The over 20 students in attendance all had a very positive experience, capturing their time in photos and videos they later shared to Instagram and other social media.

The success of the RISE, owes its existence in part to a generous grant from the Dean's Innovation Fund. Special acknowledgment and thank you goes to Annie Nevells for her visionary role in creating the program and contributing to its innovative spirit.
