The hospitality management department wishes to welcome and introduce its newest assistant professor, Hanna Lee.
She will start in the fall, after spending the last few years at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a Research Assistant Professor teaching "Theme Parks & Attractions Tourism Management."
Hanna's research and teaching interests include:
- Business analytics in hospitality and tourism destination (organization and community resilience)
- Big data analytics and AI applications
- Social media mobility analysis in hospitality and tourism marketing
- Individual participants, users, and organizational studies in sharing economy practices
- Lodging operations and service recovery management
Her most recent journal publication was in Tourism Management, titled "Spatial and Social Distance between U.S. Domestic Travelers on Restaurant Review Assessment." https://doi.org/10.1016/j.tourman.2022.104609
