Jun Li

Jun Li, Associate Professor of Strategic Management at Paul College, assumed the  Chair of the Academy of International Business U.S. Northeast Chapter (AIB USNE) on October 16, 2022. Established in 1959, AIB is a leading association of international business scholars and specialists. It publishes the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), the premier scholarly journal in the field of international business. The AIB is an association of 3,500 members worldwide, mainly academics and a few strategists studying global business, with 13 chapters in 89 countries in seven regions around the globe. The AIB U.S. Northeast Chapter is the largest, covering areas from Maine to Virginia along the northeast coast of the U.S. and recently acquired central states, including Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

In this two-year term position, as the Chair, Jun Li will determine the strategic direction and organization of the Chapter, overseeing all executive committee functions, including membership outreach, event coordination, and financial management. Before this, Prof. Li served as track chair and program chair for the AIB US NE annual conferences in 2018, 2019, and 2021 and the Vice Chair of the Chapter from 2020-2022.
