Chris Glynn, Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences, will be leaving us effective this month to accept a position at Zillow, as a Senior Economist, directing some of Zillow’s social justice research. For Chris, this opportunity to continue building on the work he pursued on the relationship between rent trends and homelessness during his postdoc at Zillow was irresistible.
As many of you know, joining the Paul faculty in the fall of 2017 was a return to his roots for Chris, a Dover native and UNH CEPS graduate. During Chris’ three years here, he has contributed to our community in many ways – as a key leader in the re-design of ADMN 420/ADMN 510, founder of the student analytics experience, Artifex, contributor to the development of the MS in Business Analytics curriculum, and instigator for starting the Paul Center for Business Analytics.
Chris will definitely be missed, but the good news is that he’ll be working for Zillow remotely, so we expect to continue to see him on campus, sharing the applied and vitally important research that is his passion.
