Many of you recommended students to serve as Dean's Ambassadors this year. One of the key activities we do is to visit the Bay Area to meet alums and learn more about the innovation economy. This trip, or residency, is a wonderful way to broaden our students' perspectives, excite them about new opportunities, and engage our alums in the current experience of Paul College. Over the 3 days we go on site visits hosted by alumni and supporters; some of the site visits included Silicon Valley Bank, Google, B Lab, Levi Strauss, and Great Place to Work. We also hold an alumni reception to reconnect with younger alumni in the area and give students the opportunity to ask questions about their experience making the transition to the West Coast.
