Over winter break, Rick Kilbride is teaching at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs and at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, both places he has taught before. About half of Skidmore students take a well regarded "MB107" course over their years at the college. The course consists of a broad over view of business topics and a final project requires student groups to present a business case study solution to a team of executives. Rick has served as a coach and evaluator for the students for many years.
At Colorado College, Rick is teaching a "J-term" course in Finance and the Liberal Arts. The course seeks to make the finance world approachable to liberal arts students. It includes Jane Austin's approach to options strategy and Willa Cather's use of diversification, both key themes of finance that are found extensively in literature.
