QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR training took place in Paul College on Tuesday, October 8 with 17 members of Paul’s faculty and staff in attendance.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer and is a one-hour training that equips you with knowledge and skills to:

  • Recognize warning signs of suicide
  • Ask useful questions
  • Persuade individuals to seek help
  • Refer individuals to campus resources QPR is analogous to CPR; in that it provides you, as a potential first responder, with concrete action steps to take until a student connects with professional help.
