An Accounting Program That Stands Out

I know what you might be thinking: accounting sounds boring. But let me tell you, Professor Scott Berube makes it sound cool.

Everyone talks about what a good professor he is, and it's so true – I swear the man can get you excited to take an exam. He's the one who encouraged me to pursue the 4.5 program.

With an extra six months of classwork I'll leave UNH with a master's degree. I mean, how do you turn that down? Save tons of money and enter the job market with a master's – it's a win-win.

Supportive Faculty and Community

In my experience, all the professors here are personable and helpful. I feel challenged but well-supported. The education offered within Paul is amazing.

But it's not just about academics. The community is so close-knit – I am always bumping into people I've met through classes.

I've made a lot of good friends through Rines Angel Fund, too. Everyone is SO smart. Sometimes I feel like, "How did I get here?"

They say every Rines student starts in my shoes. We'll find out in two years!

Unique Opportunities at UNH

Rines Angel Fund is such an unbelievable opportunity. Startup companies come in and pitch us, and then we decide whether or not to invest as a class.

When my family asks, I just call it the "shark tank class."

UNH is full of opportunities like that. But you don't need to be involved in EVERYTHING. These days, I'm learning to slow down. Ski with friends. Focus on what's important.

UNH is also a great place to just... be a college student. I'm starting to focus on the things I'm most passionate about.

Finding the Perfect Fit

I know a lot of New Hampshire residents kind of discount UNH. The biggest factor in my college search was cost, and this was my cheapest option.

I came in not expecting a lot... but turns out, I can't imagine myself happier at a different school.

My biggest piece of advice to anyone considering Paul College: just come here.
