Lauren Haley is a Lecturer in the Management Department of Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire where she teaches Introduction to Business and Women's Leadership. Lauren has taught a variety of additional courses focused on leadership at the University of New Hampshire, including Organizational Leadership and Structure, Introduction to Women’s Leadership In Health and Human Services, and Peer Leadership. Lauren also serves as an adjunct Teaching Lecturer in the Education Department of Plymouth State University, where she teaches online graduate-level courses in Social Behavior and Research Design.
Lauren has worked in the higher education setting for nearly ten years. Most recently, Lauren served as the Director of Career and Professional Success for UNH’s College of Health and Human Services where she partnered with students, faculty, staff, and employers to increase students’ access to high-quality internships and jobs. Lauren has held additional administrative and counseling positions within higher education and has been activity involved in related professional associations as both a conference presenter and council member. She served on the 2014-2015 Executive Council for the New England Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers as Vice President for Professional Development and on the 2016-2017 Steering Committee for the National Academic Advising Association as NH State Liaison. Prior to her career in higher education, Lauren spent several years employed in the community mental health sector in the roles of Case Manager and Youth and Family Therapist. Lauren’s educational background and professional roles have developed her strengths and interests in the areas of personal and organizational wellness, effective leadership, human relations, and professional development and training.
Lauren received her Ed.D. in Higher Ed. Administrative Leadership from Plymouth State University, her M.A. in Psychology from American University and her dual B.A. in Sociology and Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire. She resides in Lee, NH, with her husband and their two children.
