Voice Z Digital Celebrates Milestone of 100 Clients Served
Voice Z Digital, the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics’ student-run digital marketing agency, recently celebrated a major milestone: serving its 100th client.
The agency, a collaboration between UNH students and the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC), connects small businesses with digital marketing support delivered by student teams gaining hands-on professional experience.
Through Voice Z, students work directly with clients on a range of projects, including website audits and development, digital content creation, social media strategy and search engine optimization, among other services. The work goes beyond classroom exercises, giving students the opportunity to manage real deliverables, deadlines and client expectations.
“These aren’t class exercises,” said Alexander LaBrecque, assistant professor of marketing and Voice Z Digital faculty advisor. “Students are working on real deliverables with real deadlines and real expectations, and clients hold them accountable.”
Rooted Rose Recreation & Wellness became the agency’s milestone 100th client. To mark the occasion, co-owner Erika Halaby joined other small business owners, students and Paul College community members at a celebration recognizing the program’s impact on New Hampshire’s small business ecosystem.
“Sometimes entrepreneurship feels lonely,” Halaby said. “The Voice Z team came in and said, ‘Let us help carry some of that weight.’”
The milestone reflects the continued success of the partnership among Voice Z students, NH SBDC advisors and participating businesses, demonstrating how experiential learning can support both student development and regional economic growth.
