Paul College hospitality management students hosted another spectacular Gourmet Dinner on Nov. 8 and 9, bringing Renaissance magic to the Great Hall.
This year’s event, themed "The Grand Masquerade: A Renaissance Feast," transformed the space into a realm of elegance and fine dining, showcasing the students' talent and dedication as they planned and executed every detail from start to finish.
Guests were welcomed with champagne and artisanal charcuterie, setting the stage for an evening that celebrated culinary artistry and impeccable service. Highlights included seared duck l'orange and pistachio-crusted lamb chops, along with expertly curated wine pairings that transported diners straight to the vineyards of France and New Zealand. Each of the seven courses, from appetizers to a decadent trio of desserts, reflected the months of hard work, planning, and refinement poured into the evening by the student team.
This hands-on project brought classroom learning to life, allowing students to hone their skills in event planning, culinary execution, and hospitality management in a real-world setting. The response from guests was overwhelmingly positive, with high praise for the enchanting ambiance, seamless service, and impressive culinary lineup. For our hospitality students, this event was not just a dinner—it was the culmination of their passion and dedication to creating unforgettable experiences.
Congratulations to the talented student team for turning their vision into Renaissance magic!
