Your Support Made a Difference

Paul College Surpasses (603) Challenge Goal

Alex Duffield holds the (603) Challenge sign.

The Paul College community dared to take on the (603) Challenge (April 7-11) and successfully surpassed its fundraising goals!

For the past 12 years, the (603) Challenge has been the University of New Hampshire's largest annual fundraiser. This year, more than $3.6 million was raised by more than 10,700 donors.

Our generous Paul College community — consisting of alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and family — raised more than $394,000. Thank you to the 439 donors who made this possible.

We are especially grateful to the 60 generous underwriters whose early support contributed $330,000 in funds that were unlocked once we met our goal of 400 donors. In addition to underwriter support, more than $9,400 in matching and bonus funds were allocated from gifts made during special challenge days such as NH Numbers Day.

All funds raised directly impact our students and community here at Paul College. Thanks to your gift, our programs and scholarships will have the resources needed to best support our students during the upcoming academic year. Your generosity fuels tomorrow's cutting-edge, experiential learning opportunities, including funding trips to Finland for International Sales Week, attending retail conferences in New York City and hosting the annual Finance Symposium at Paul College.

Here are some highlights from this year:

  • MSA was the first area challenge to reach its donor goal and unlock underwriting funds, rallying 40 donors and raising $61,222.

  • Dean Gilson, our development team and Caleb Bailey, a student from the ECenter, tabled at Paul College during NH Numbers Day. Student engagement and support were high.

  • With 186 donors, Undergraduate Student Support attracted the most donors of any Paul College area challenge.

  • Paul College Dean's Strategic Initiatives raised $14,362 during the challenge — the most of any area of support.

Congratulations on coming together to support the Paul College community. Go Wildcats!
