The 2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings were released this week and we are happy to share that our Part-Time MBA program made the list, ranking at #120 and among the Top 10 programs ranked in New England. This is a 16-spot improvement from last year. Out of the almost 300 surveyed Part-Time MBA programs that were potentially eligible to be ranked, 278 submitted enough data to U.S. News to meet the criteria to be included in this ranking.

Among the New England flagships we are #3 after UMASS Amherst (#32) and UCONN (#48). URI is #135 and UMaine and UVM are not included in the rankings. Two main competitors – Bentley and Bryant—are ranked in the 212-278 bracket and UMASS Lowell, another competitor, was not ranked. Growing our reputation has been a goal for us and we are happy to see our peer assessment score improved from 2.6 to 2.7. The overall ranking is based on peer ratings, student selectivity, student professional experience, and percentage of MBA students enrolled in the part-time program.

In other good news, our Full-Time MBA program was included in the U.S. News ranking, something we have not achieved in recent years. We are ranked in the 102-134 bracket, in the company of several of our key competitors including Bentley, Brandeis, Bryant, Suffolk, Quinnipiac, and UVM. This ranking is based on peer and employer ratings, student selectivity, and placements after graduation. Among those surveyed as part of the Best Business Schools, a total of 363 survey recipients responded, of which only 134 were ranked (based on data provide and size of 2021 graduating class seeking employment).

Our MBA programs are successful due to the quality of our faculty and we want to thank all who are teaching so effectively in these programs. We also want to thank the teams in Communications & Marketing and the Graduate Programs Office who help attract quality applicants, drive admissions, and support the programs and our students, as well as our Career and Professional Success team for helping our students land quality jobs.

Onward to Top 100!
