Sustainability at UNH is a university-wide endeavor and we’re proud to be national leaders and recognize those contributing to our efforts through the UNH Sustainability Awards, which embrace the framework of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals to advance human dignity for all people and ecological integrity in all places, and emphasize the inextricable links between human dignity, ecological health, participatory democracy, and intergenerational equity. From small and emergent, to large and complex, the Sustainability Awards program shines a light on the full spectrum of actions that contribute to sustainability at and beyond UNH.
