Chef Ron Boucher
Ron Boucher has thirty years experience as a highly successful restaurant owner on the seacoast of NH - but his true love is being a teacher.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Ron began his career and a chef and restaurateur on the gorgeous Seacoast of NH.
Over the last fourteen years Ron has owned and operated Chez Boucher Cooking school - whose mission it is to train both the novice and more experienced cook in the fundamentals of cooking offering both professional training and recreational cooking classes.
He is highly involved in his community - offering not only cooking classes - but offering events and celebrations where people can be hands on in the kitchen as part of the celebration - turning a fun evening of eating into a special culinary learning experience.
His teaching also bring his students and patrons all over the globe by providing food and wine excursions to both Italy and France, with future excursions planned in Ireland and Scotland. During these excursions he conducts cooking classes featuring the foods and cooking styles of the region.
The culinary tours invigorate his passion of cooking, and brings inspiration to his teaching.
He has appeared on many local TV shows and in major regional publications.
He is currently on the faculty in the Hospitality Management Department at the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics at the University of NH.
