UNH Again Named New England’s Best Value Public University

For the sixth consecutive year, UNH has been named the No. 1 best value public university in New England by U.S. News & World Report.
The university also moved up seven spots to No. 50 among public universities nationally in the 2027 Best Colleges rankings.
The recognition comes as UNH continues to post strong student outcomes. Among 2025 graduates, 72% completed at least one internship, while 94% were employed or pursuing further education within six months of graduation. Of those employed, 88% were working in fields related to their majors.
UNH also reported an 88% first-year retention rate and 78% four-year graduation rate, both above national averages.
