UNH AMA Students Rank Top 5 Among 257 Small Chapters
UNH’s American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter earned national recognition at the International Collegiate Conference in Chicago, placing in the top five out of 257 small chapters across the country.
This year’s conference, themed “Level Up,” brought together marketing students from across the U.S. for a few days of professional development, networking, and hands-on learning beyond the classroom. A major highlight of the event was the celebration of student achievements, with chapters and individuals recognized for their impact and performance throughout the year.
UNH’s top-five finish marks a significant accomplishment on the national stage and reflects the strength of the chapter’s programming, leadership and student engagement.
Several competitions, including the MLB case competition sponsored by Deloitte, were completed ahead of the conference, with results revealed in Chicago—adding to the excitement as students saw how their work stacked up against peers nationwide. Live events like Perfect Pitch and the Marketplace Simulation challenged students to think on their feet, collaborate under pressure and present creative solutions in real time.
Beyond competition, students attended sessions led by industry professionals covering topics such as branding, digital marketing and career development. A career fair also gave attendees the opportunity to connect with recruiters, practice networking skills and explore internships and job opportunities.
Outside of the formal programming, students had time to explore Chicago and strengthen connections within their chapter—an experience that added to the overall impact of the trip.
Together, the conference offered a valuable mix of competition, learning and connection, helping UNH AMA students build confidence, expand their perspectives and take another step forward in their marketing careers.
