Expanding Perspectives: Paul College Hosts Third Annual DEI Conference

Paul College held its third annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference on Friday, Feb 7.
Students, staff, faculty, alumni, business leaders, and interested members of the community gathered to learn, share, and grow in the DEI space around the theme of “Expanding Perspective.”

Panels and presentation topics at the conference ranged from building neuroinclusive environments to fostering effective communication, with insights from innovators in inclusivity and business leaders from across the country. Keynote speaker Dr. Ludmila N. Praslova wrapped everything up with an interactive presentation on creating organizational systems for inclusion and wellbeing. As the author of "The Canary Code" and a professor of graduate industrial-organizational psychology, Dr. Praslova is a global expert in neurodiversity and inclusive talent strategy. Her insights help leaders focus on creating workplaces where everyone can flourish through practical, evidence-based approaches.
"I believe creating truly inclusive environments requires both systemic change and individual awareness," she said. "It's about building organizations where everyone can contribute their unique strengths."
A special thanks to Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and the Morrison Fellow of Diversity Jennifer Griffith for planning and organizing this event. And to all of our panelists and presenters!
