Dutta to Serve AOM Entrepreneurship Division in Multiple Roles During 2025

Dev Dutta, professor of strategic management and entrepreneurship, has been invited to be in service leadership roles in the Entrepreneurship Division at the Academy of Management.
This year, he will be co-chairing the Mid-Career Consortium (MCC). The MCC serves the critical role of supporting post-tenure entrepreneurship scholars from across the world in managing their career after acquiring tenure. MCC mentors and coaches assist participants in the retooling of skillsets for chosen career paths in research, teaching, administration, or a blend of all three. Thus, the consortium helps enact the division's values: diversity, inclusion, and development.
Dutta will also be serving on the 6-member jury for selecting the Entrepreneurship Division's most prestigious doctoral research award, the Heizer Doctoral Dissertation Award in New Enterprise Development. This award recognizes and honors outstanding doctoral research in the area of new enterprise development. The Heizer award highlights research on the founding, financing, management, growth, and development of high potential new ventures, with venture capital investing, or with corporate entrepreneurship. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Heizer Award.
