The University of New Hampshire recently hosted its 8th annual Women in Sales event, bringing together nearly 100 students from UNH Women in Business and UNH Sales, alongside 35+ professional women in sales.
Students engaged in discussions about career paths in sales, learning directly from the professionals’ experiences and gaining insights into various sales roles.
A special thank you to Paul College Dean Lucy Gilson for her opening remarks, highlighting the importance of sales in any career, and to our spotlight speaker, Hillary Caruso from Eliassen Group, for sharing her career journey. The event also featured small group discussions and open networking.
We were thrilled to see many alumni return to represent their companies and share their personal stories in sales.
A big shoutout to Megan Charron and the Women in Business (WiB) group, along with Cameron Livingstone from the UNH Professional Sales Group, for their leadership in organizing this impactful event. This partnership has significantly increased awareness of sales among women at UNH, with this year’s sales cohort reaching 44% female—the largest to date.
