Please join us in congratulating six faculty members who were recently promoted - Dev Dutta and Khole Gwebu to the rank of Professor; Jon Nash and Cinthia Satornino to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure; and Lauren Haley and Noele Lee to the rank of Senior Lecturer. These promotions are based on comprehensive dossiers prepared and submitted for review and decisions at both department and dean’s office levels, as well as the provost’s office and board of trustees for tenured faculty.
Dev Dutta (Management) joined Paul College in 2007 after completing his PhD in Business Administration from Western University, Canada. His research interests include entrepreneurial learning, free enterprise, innovation ecosystems, and technological innovation. Prior to joining Paul College, he spent 15 years in industry in the areas of corporate entrepreneurship and strategic management. His recent publications include articles in Applied Psychology and R&D Management. Dev earned his MA in Liberal Studies and MS in University Teaching (both from UNH), his Masters in Business Finance from the Indian Institute of Finance, and his Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BITS Pilani, India. He is also a design thinking coach, with certifications from MIT and Stanford University.
Khole Gwebu (Decision Sciences) joined Paul College in 2006, after completing his PhD in Management Systems from Kent State University. He has served as the department chair as well as the Faculty Fellow for Accreditation and Assessment. Khole’s research interests include access to data/information, information technology, privacy, small business, computer/data/network security, and information science/systems. He has received several awards including the UNH Outstanding Association Professor Award. His recent publications include articles in Communications of the Association for Information Systems and Computers & Security. Khole also holds a Bachelor of Communications in Accounting from National University of Lesotho and MBA from Kent State University.
Lauren Haley (Management) joined Paul College as a lecturer in 2019 after three years as the Director of Career and Professional Success at UNH’s College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), as well as serving as an adjunct instructor for Paul College and Plymouth State University. In her role as a lecturer, she co-redesigned the Introduction to Business (ADMN 400) course to better align with the rest of the Paul College curriculum. She also serves as Faculty Director for the Rutman Fellows Program. Lauren earned her EdD in Higher Education with a concentration in Administrative Leadership from Plymouth State University. Lauren earned her MA in Psychology from American University and a BA in Sociology and Justice Studies from UNH.
Noele Lee (Decision Sciences) joined Paul College in 2017 as a lecturer, bringing over twenty years of experience working in IT and operations in various leadership roles at Andersen Consulting, State Street Corporation, and John Hancock. Noele recently served as the Faculty Fellow for Accreditation and Assessment and was integral in drafting the latest continuous improvement report for AACB reaccreditation. She is currently the Faculty Director for Executive Development Programs. Noele received both her MBA and BS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Jon Nash (Accounting) joined Paul College in 2016 after completing his PhD in Accounting from Florida State University. His research interests include auditing and corporate governance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and Certified Information Systems Auditor. Jon has won several awards including the Paul College Teaching Excellence Award. His recent publications include articles in European Accounting Review and Managerial Auditing Journal. Jon earned his BSBA in Accounting from Roger Williams University and his MSA in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
Cinthia Satornino (Marketing) joined Paul College in 2021 after serving as faculty at Northeastern University and the University of Connecticut. Her research interests include marketing, sales management, sales, artificial intelligence, and social structures and personality. She serves as the research director for Paul College’s Center for Sales Excellence and is Co-Chair of the UNH Neurodiversity Center Taskforce. Cinthia has also won several awards including a UNH Sustainability Award – Faculty New Curriculum Award. Her recent publications include articles in Industrial Marketing Management and Journal of Marketing. Cinthia earned her BSc in Engineering/Behavioral Sciences from the University of Central Florida and her MBA from the University of Florida.
