The first annual Paul College Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion conference was held February 17, 2023, and feedback from participants, volunteers, & attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Ninety-one percent of those who provided feedback in person & online expressed that they are very likely to attend the conference again in the future. Thank you to everyone who planned, volunteered, participated, & attended!

Of particular note was the keynote address, given by Jermaine Moore. Jermaine Moore is the founder of The Mars Hill Group where he specializes in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Team Development, Culture Assessment and Development, Communication Training, and Change Management. With a focus on building leadership and organizational competencies and skills, Jermaine introduces and reinforces behaviors that drive business results. Jermaine is also an active instructor for University of New Hampshire’s Professional Development and Training Program, serves as the Diversity Director for SHRM’s NH State Council and is a board member for the Diversity Workforce Coalition (DWC) whose mission is to promote diversity in the workplace through education, training, and enhanced networking opportunities.

Jermaine summed up the goal of the conference well, "Feeling welcomed, valued, respected, seen, and heard in the workplace gives you the ultimate feeling of belonging.”
