With five minutes of your time, you can help shine a light on faculty and staff colleagues and students you know making a difference for the environment, social justice, equity, climate change, quality education, and more. Fill out the new, simplified nomination form for the 2023 UNH Sustainability Awards to let us know about someone (UNH student, faculty, staff) contributing to a more sustainable, equitable and just future.

What if I know someone making a difference, but it’s not a “green” or environmental issue?
Please nominate them! And check out the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – at UNH, we use this as a framework to define sustainability broadly and recognize work that advances across the SDGs.

How do I nominate?
Fill out the NEW 5-minute nomination form with information about the nominee (any UNH faculty, staff, or student from UNH Durham, UNH Manchester or UNH Law).
We’ll let that person know they’ve been nominated for an award and ask them for some more details about their work so our award selection committees can determine this year’s awardees.

We will honor this year’s selected award recipients at the Awards Celebration on May 9. Because we firmly believe that it takes all of us working toward a sustainable future, all nominees will be celebrated as UNH Sustainability Champions.
