Nearly 90 academics, entrepreneurs, and franchise industry professionals from 13 countries participated in the April 13th “Growth Financing For Social Franchising” webinar. Hosted by Dr. Hachemi “Hach” Aliouche, director of Paul College’s Rosenberg International Franchise Center (RIFC) in partnership with the International Franchise Association Social Sector Franchise Task Force, the free, one-hour virtual conference featured perspectives from both the investment and social franchise community.

Peter D. Holt, RIFC advisory board member and president and CEO of The Joint Chiropractic facilitated the discussion. Speakers included John Simon, founding partner of Total Impact Capital; Galen Welsch, founder and CEO of the Jibu social franchise; and Julie McBride, founder and CEO of Stage Six, a company that helps high-performing social enterprises scale sustainably.

This informative and engaging program provided a window into financing options for social franchisors and franchisees. Each program section included time for audience questions and answers. RIFC-hosted social franchising webinar recordings are available for viewing on the RIFC website
