Paul College food drive collected items

This November, Paul College staff and faculty participated in a week-long food drive, generating 954 food items for the Waysmeet Cornucopia Food Pantry. The Cornucopia Food Pantry, located in The Waysmeet Center, provides food and other support to UNH students, staff, faculty and their families, and is located at 15 Mill Road in Durham, NH.

178 staff and faculty members were divided into 10 teams and held a friendly competition to see which team could collected the highest number of items per team member. This year’s winning team was the Faro Suite (consisting of NHSBDC, the Graduate Office, and Communications and Marketing) donating 371 items. A close second was the Dean’s Office team, consisting of the Dean’s staff, Advancement, IT, and the Center for Family Enterprise, donating 191 items. And in third place, our Decision Sciences faculty brought in 104 items. Congratulations to all!

Thank you to all who were able to participate. We understand that with remote schedules, COVID precautions, and end of semester workloads, participating in these initiatives can be challenging. But don’t worry – we will be planning more drives to benefit local organizations this spring. #PaulPride
