Paul College NBEA Paper Winners

Last week, November 12-13^th, the Peter T. Paul College hosted the 47^th annual conference of the Northeast Business & Economics Association (a virtual conference). The conference included 55 papers presentations and was a resounding success.

We are happy to announce that a paper co-authored by Professor Svetlana Petrova was the winner of the Best Paper – 1st Place, and the paper co-authored by Professors Jonathan Nash and Le Xu was the recipient of Best Paper – 2nd Place at this conference.

• Best Paper - 1^st Place: "Trading Ahead of the Disclosure: Cybersecurity Breaches," by Svetlana Petrova and Andy Naranjo
• Best Paper - 2^nd Place: "Disclosure Committees: Implications for Financial Reporting Quality, Readability and Timeliness," by Cristina Baily, Jonathan Nash, and Le Xu
