Professional Sales Group

Students and employers gather in Paul College's Great Hall for a job fair

The Professional Sales Group is an elite experiential sales and leadership course where students train for, compete in, and host sales competitions and business networking events. These sales role-plays use real business case scenarios to simulate selling experiences.

PSG provides students a supportive environment and experiential setting to develop and hone their consultative selling, partnering, and relationship building skills.

Core to the course is the group's Elite Competition Series with top partner companies. PSG students receive a case study on a prospective customer and spend weeks preparing for a mock sales meeting with the client. These sponsors then host students at their local branch where they judge the competitors on their sales role-play and educate students about their company. Many of these companies offer summer internships or even jobs to competition winners.

The best PSG members represent UNH at intercollegiate sales competitions where they compete against the other top sales programs in the nation. These competitions provide students unmatched networking opportunities along with a chance to be recognized on a national stage.

Throughout the year, the UNH Sales Center provides students and sales professionals an opportunity to connect and build relationships through networking events and competitions. This allows students to find a company they will love and employers an opportunity to recruit top sales talent. The annual flagship event of UNH Sales often has 100+ students compete for a chance to win a grand prize of $1000. Other events include Speed Sell, Women in Sales, and Interview Idol.

100% of former PSG students seeking employment have secured a summer internship or full timeposition by June.

A student officer corps is responsible for structuring and coordinating the two-credit course through a competitive application process. Students in good standing may retake course up to a maximum of 12 credits. More information about the group can be found at their student-run website.
