We Offer Win-Win Opportunities
Leadership In Business Education
The Paul College has always been a leader in adapting business education to the contemporary needs of the business community. Now, as the world shifts ever more rapidly towards a global information economy, the School has once again assumed a leadership position in providing business education for the new age.
A History of Key Partnerships
At the Business School, we have developed innovative technology-based programs, formed strong alliances within the business community, and are a key partner in the economic development of the region's economy.
Strategic Faculty Research Initiatives
Our award winning faculty and administrators work closely with business and industry to develop new ideas and technologies for success in the marketplace. The curriculum allows us to offer rewarding internship experiences which are mutually beneficial to students and to corporations. Through our academic initiatives and business and research centers, the School is positioned to more fully provide education and technical assistance to individuals and companies - for example, in the areas of emerging technology, business strategy, intellectual property, and small business development. These services enable businesses to grow effectively and successfully manage and commercialize emerging technologies. The centers serve as interdisciplinary resources to ensure that new products and technologies are effectively brought to market. Faculty and students serve as consultants to assist businesses in all stages of development and growth.
MBA Consulting Projects Work With Business
Designed to enhance the MBA candidate's field and research experiences, these consulting projects are conducted in support of the corporate clients' organizational needs and the educational needs of graduate students in the MBA program. Student consultants have worked on projects as diverse as developing a disaster recovery plan for a national technology corporation, conducting a marketing analysis for a financial institution, and creating a dynamic capacity planning model that has the potential to generate $3-million in cost savings for an energy distributor.
Undergraduate Course Projects Team With Industry
Several undergraduate courses, including the Internship in Entrepreneurial and Management Practice, Information Systems Project course, and the Hospitality Management Practicum, team students with industry to complete real-world projects for traditional and start-up companies. The Peter T. Paul College seeks companies for participation.
