"I will miss the idea of not knowing what you’re going to do in a few weeks or a few months. It makes college interesting. These past four years have been the best, craziest & most stressful of my life. The people I have met and the experiences that I have had are the memories I will carry with me.

UNH has given me so many opportunities - and I'm most proud of how many times I've said yes to them. I would preach to any incoming freshman that no matter the opportunity, whether you’re uncomfortable or not, say yes!

Given that I was a pretty shy freshman, staying open-minded in my first year was really key to my experience. It's crazy that I've taken part in panel sessions for prospective students with over 500 people in the crowd. If you were to tell freshman me I'd be doing that, I would’ve laughed and said, "No." Putting myself in uncomfortable situations has helped me grow into who I am today and feel confident going into the real world.

My favorite professors: Scott Berube and Diane Devine. It's funny, I actually hated accounting, but Berube is so fun, and he makes it so easy. Professor Devine has been an incredible resource and always so helpful.

I had various leadership positions here that were so amazing. For example - being a peer advisor. I taught a class of 20 freshman through their full first year. With so many different personalities, all unsure of what they want from their future, I've had to adapt every week and play to their strengths. It's a skill I will carry with me all throughout my career.

My post-grad job wouldn't have happened without Paul College connections - I asked a friend who asked a professor who asked someone they knew. I’ll be working as a Client and Leadership Program Coordinator for Ouellette & Associates. I’m excited to wear multiple hats and continue to grow!

To my fellow seniors: we have such a strong community around us. I know I will have the friends I've made here for the rest of my life. And to anyone else who has impacted my experience – I truly hope we stay connected in the future."
