Hannah Grich '21 is from Bellingham, MA and pursuing a double major in Marketing and Management. She runs her own portrait photography business, is a member of UNH Chi Omega, and works as a student photographer for Paul's Communications and Marketing department.

"When I was looking at colleges, I knew that I wanted to attend a University that had all four seasons (although the winter can be tough). Since I was interested in pursuing business, I knew Paul would be a perfect fit. And after I toured UNH, I knew this place would become my home!

During freshman year, there were times when I wondered if this was the right place for me, but I ended up joining a sorority which led me to find some of my best friends for life. I also began to open myself up, get out of my comfort zone, and everything that I originally thought that I wasn’t capable of, soon changed, as I gained great friends and self-confidence.

I think my freshman self would be proud of who I have become in the past four years. I began my own photography business my sophomore year, held positions in my sorority and UNH Panhellenic council, have created amazing relationships with friends, professors, and supervisors... I mean, the list can go on and on and on!

Without a doubt, getting the chance to work at Paul, as a photographer for the social media team, has to be one of my most favorite career opportunities. Having the ability to capture what makes Paul College a place where people call home is amazing. Additionally, I held an internship with a UNH Alum who now runs her own branding photography business, Raya on Assignment!

I will miss Homecoming and Parents Weekend the most as those were so much fun. Getting to meet my friends' families was an absolute blast.

After I graduate, I plan to continue my photography business and travel (once it’s safe again). I’m interested in working at a digital marketing agency, so I’ll be spending my spring semester applying to jobs in the Northeast!

I would not be where I am today without both the guidance from my supervisor Micky Bedell and the experience I got from Peter Masucci's class, Marketing Workshop. Both have given me so much support and helped me grow as an individual. I am truly thankful for working with them."
