Economics major with a minor in Anthropology
It was weird walking in to an office with nap pods, ping pong tables, and game rooms. I immediately thought to myself ‘When do these people actually use them?’ I soon realized that I had the same common misconception most people do, that these amenities take away from productivity. But after my summer, I realized it was more productive to be able to walk away from your desk, clear your head, and come back refreshed and ready to work just as hard. I loved it, a place where you could feel comfortable and do impactful work. Alexis is a peer advisor and also serves on the Rutman Leadership Fellows advisory board. This summer she interned at Wayfair as a Category Management intern.
