Developed and published by UNH’s Rosenberg International Franchise Center (RIFC), the RIFC 50 Index is the first stock index to track the financial market performance of the U.S. franchising sector.
RIFC recently released it 2022 fourth quarter report, which includes a review of 2022 overall.
The RIFC 50 Index jumped 11.9% in Q4 with a broad-based participation of all major business sectors, and most individual Index components. Out of 50 franchise companies comprising the Index, 34 had positive returns, 24 of which were double-digit. Planet Fitness delivered an outstanding performance.
