Jim Combs Receives Inaugural RIFC | ISoF Eminent Franchising Scholar Award
Jim Combs
James Combs, Ph.D., one of the most well-known and prolific scholars in franchising, graciously accepted the invitation to be named the first “Rosenberg International Franchise Center | ISoF Eminent Franchising Scholar” at the 34th Annual ISoF Conference (held virtually) in May. Jim is the Della Phillips Martha Schenck Chair of American Private Enterprise & Professor of Management at the University of Central Florida.
He has served as an Associate Editor for the Academy of Management Journal and Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice. He is a past President of the Southern Management Association where he is also a Fellow. Jim‘s research appears in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, and Organizational Research Methods.
