2024 Keynote Speaker - Ron Noble, '79

The Peter T. Paul Financial Policy Center presents a Keynote Address by Ron Noble ‘79 at the 11th Annual Finance Symposium. Mr. Noble is a Paul College graduate who served 14 years as the Secretary General of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL).

An enriching day will be capped off with Noble’s inspiring account of how he went from an ambitious Economics and Business major to becoming INTERPOL’s first American, African-American, and at the time, youngest, Secretary General. Noble has held various positions for the U.S. government, including with the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Department of Justice, and the Treasury.

During his tenure Noble’s incredible work with INTERPOL strengthened and modernized the organization positioning it as a trusted global partner. He also notes the personal achievement of visiting every INTERPOL member country. More recently, Noble showcased his expertise in the complications caused by financial sanctions and bank compliance issues during a stint as the Chairman of the Board of a $29.7 billion trust created by Russia’s wealthiest billionaire (Forbes).

The 11th Annual Finance Symposium will take place on October 25, 2024, in the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. The day will begin with career and discussion panels and an opportunity for students to network with industry professionals. After lunch, all are invited to attend the exciting final round of the Stock Pitch Competition where UNH undergrad and graduate students will compete for a $1000 first prize sponsored by Vigilant Wealth Management of Portsmouth. Noble’s Keynote address will begin at 2:30 p.m. in room 185 of the Paul College building.
