Mike Varano is a Managing Director at Evercore ISI, where he plays a senior leadership role in global sales trading. With more than 23 years of experience across leading capital markets organizations, he has built a strong track record in client relationship management, business development, and organizational leadership. In his current role, Varano oversees branch trading supervision, leads new client prospecting initiatives, and serves as a key liaison between advisory teams and institutional trading desks, working closely with some of the world’s largest asset managers and hedge funds.
Varano began his career at Knight Trading Group and has developed deep expertise in equities trading over the course of his career. He holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, where he was also a member of the baseball team.
